A qualified member of the British Institute of Professional Photography, Ian Thraves has 13 years experience in the fields of people, location and still life photography.

During his career, Ian has established a successful working relationship with many impressive clients, regularly shooting for commercial, industrial and editorial applications. His pictures are commissioned for all kinds of purposes, including corporate brochures, advertising and design, public relations, television, newspapers, books and magazines.

Some of Ian’s recent big-name clients include ICI, The Coop, Moathouse Hotels, Astra Zeneca, Granada TV, Channel 4, Harper Collins, Hodder and Stoughton, Berlitz travel, The Times, Telegraph and Independent newspapers and EMAP magazines.

Ian has given many lectures in the UK and overseas, and written magazine and book articles on various photographic subjects, including the business of photography, digital imaging and photographic technique.
